Along the border between Portugal and Spain, women once wove linen sacks by hand to carry the harvest. This cushion cover is made from one of them – found in an old village house in northern Portugal and given a second life.
Every cover has its own character, and no two look the same. Mends, faded stripes and small traces of use are part of the fabric and its history – we leave them as they are.
